Surface-Knit and Reformulate CADENCE-Kids for Translation

The UNC Charlotte Department of Applied Physiology, Health, and Clinical Sciences, a STEM Pre-College Program partner, is currently recruiting 13-17-year-old youth for the SKyRoCKeT Research Study. Researchers are testing volunteers from March 2024 – Dec 2024 and are investigating how physical activity intensity is related to walking/running in youth.

Participation in this research study is not required for participation in the STEM Pre-College Program and is voluntary.

The participation includes the following:
● Three (3) visits will take place at the Belk Gym at UNC Charlotte, and your child will wear a physical activity monitor for 7 days
● A parent/guardian must be present for the entirety of each visit to Belk Gym
● A total of $150 in e-gift cards will be given to parents/guardians for completion of the entire study
