District 5 & 6 NC Student Academy of Sciences Competition
Attention Middle & High School Teachers
NCSAS objectives are:
- encouraging students to use their talents for the improvement of themselves, their schools, and their communities
- promoting the study of science, technology, and mathematics.
- assisting students to pursue careers in science and technology.
- Middle and high school students compete at the Regional/ District level where they may win 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place ribbons in their category and may qualify for the State level competition.

2025 Virtual Events will be held March 5, 2025.
Registration and Paper Submission Deadline: February 24, 2025.
Sharing Science the Way Scientists Do
The North Carolina Student Academy of Science is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering interaction between high school and middle school student researchers and scientists. We are an affiliate of the American Junior Academy of Science and NC Academy of Science.
The NCSAS State Event will be split this year. Districts 1-4 in Durham March 28; Districts 5-8 in Morganton, NC April 25.
