Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSI)

Welcome to the UNC Charlotte Apsi!
The APSI is an exciting four-day institute offered virtually or in person by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Center for STEM Education and sponsored by the College Board. This institute is an excellent opportunity for new and experienced AP teachers to strengthen their instructional practice.
Participants will work with College Board–approved consultants with options to explore AP curriculum content, AP Capstone frameworks, and Project-Based Learning (PBL) strategies that promote inquiry, collaboration, and higher-level thinking. Teachers will also gain guidance on selecting course materials and preparing students for Advanced Placement exams.
Participants earn 30 NC state credit hours (check with your state education agency for requirements). For more information, contact the Center for STEM Education at apsi@charlotte.edu.
