Advanced Placement Summer Institutes (APSI)
Welcome to the UNC Charlotte Apsi
The APSI is an exciting four-day institute that will be held virtually or in person by the University of North Carolina at Charlotte Center for STEM Education and sponsored by the College Board! This institute is an incredible opportunity for current and new AP teachers who are looking to take their teaching skills to the next level! The institute is designed to benefit beginning AP teachers and/or current AP teachers wishing to build on an existing course. Participants will have the chance to work with College Board-approved consultants on AP curriculum content and teaching strategies! Teachers will gain valuable insight on selecting course materials, learning ways for higher-level thinking, and preparing students for Advanced Placement examinations! By attending this institute, teachers will earn the NC state requirement of 30 credit hours! Please check with your state education agency for requirements in your state. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to enhance your teaching skills! If you need more information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Center for STEM Education at apsi@charlotte.edu.
