Pre-Register your school for participation in Regional 6b Science & Engineering Fair Science Fair. Registration will allow fair staff to provide you email updates, forms, requirements etc.

Judge Registration

Deadline: February 3, 2012. Register online at UNC Charlotte Regional 6b Science & Engineering Fair Science Fair In A Box at http://ncsefreg6b.sfiab.com/.

You must submit all required forms including your research plan and Abstract via fax 704.687.3216 to be registered for the 2012 UNC Charlotte Science & Engineering Fair by January 20, 2012. Visit http://www.ncsciencefair.org/index.php/guidelines for all the rules and forms required.

Participant Registration

Dear Teachers: The 2012 UNC Charlotte Regional Science & Engineering Fair is February 4, 2012. Below is information on forms and registration.

All the students must complete ISEF Forms:
ISEF 1 at http://www.societyforscience.org/document.doc?id=32 (there are more ISEF forms if a student checks any of the boxes in the additional forms section 6 of ISEF 1 form-contact me immediately if this is the case.)

All students must register online at http://ncsefreg6b.sfiab.com/ to register as a participant.

All forms take a bit of time because they may require student signature, parent signature and/or your signature.

All student must have a research plan for registration(this is what they submitted to you already for their project and should include(info from NC State Science Fair website):

  1. Question or problem being addressed
  2. Hypothesis/Engineering Goals
  3. Detailed description of methods or procedures
  4. Bibliography – minimal 3 for Elementary and 5 for Junior and Senior

Please note that data is not to be included.

All students must have an abstract to hang at their exhibit table for the UNC Charlotte Regional Science Fair and it should include(info from NC State Science Fair website):

An abstract is written after experimentation and includes:

a) purpose of the experiment
b) procedure
c) data
d) conclusions
