Partnership Highlight: UNC Charlotte Department of Kinesiology

Categories: Uncategorized

The UNC Charlotte STEM Pre-College Program extends sincere appreciation to Dr. Trudy Moore-Harrison and graduate student Joshua Harris from the Department of Kinesiology for their continued partnership and outstanding support of our students.

Mr. Harris delivered an exemplary presentation to students participating in the Human Anatomy and Physiology Experience during Summer 2025 and again at the November 8 Saturday Academy. As Dr. Kelli Uitenham, Bio-Medicine Instructor, hosted Brian Talk Day with Northwestern University, Mr. Harris graciously provided our Bio-Medicine students with an unforgettable hands-on experience in the College of Health and Human Services Anatomage Lab (Room 386).

Students explored 3D renderings of the human body and gained a deeper understanding of various human body systems through the Anatomage Table, an advanced virtual dissection tool.

We extend our gratitude to Mr. Harris and Dr. Moore-Harrison for their continued collaboration with the UNC Charlotte Center for STEM Education and their commitment to inspiring future health and biomedical professionals.
