We are excited to begin a new year of learning and collaboration! Please join us for our first meeting of the 2025–2026 academic year:

Due to scheduling conflicts and multiple home football games this month, our September meeting will be held virtually. We expect our next meeting to be in person on the UNC Charlotte campus.


This Month’s Program

Dr. Funk will lead an Introduction to the Neurobiology of Autism, which will serve as the anchor theme for this year’s meetings. Through this lens, we will explore various aspects of the nervous system and how its systems work together.

In addition:

  • We will participate in the Autism Speaks Empower Walk for Autism at Symphony Park on November 8. [Join our team here!]
  • Advisory Council finalists will be introduced, and we will vote for our new Fundraising Chair.
