8th Annual Youth Energy Academy

The 2024 YEA is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, from 9 AM to 3 PM, at the EPIC building at UNC Charlotte. This year’s event promises to be an exciting opportunity for students to:

  • Engage in hands-on activities related to energy careers
  • Participate in competitions with prizes
  • Gain insights into the energy industry
  • Explore STEM fields and their importance in future careers

Scholars from the STEM Pre-College Program and the 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte Movement of Youth programs contributed to last year’s successful event. Middle and high school students and parents from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg region are invited to attend this year’s event.

Together, we can ignite curiosity in young minds to explore thrilling and impactful career  opportunities in the energy sector and other STEM fields. The registration link is given below.
